The Real Thing

Wow.... it's been a while!

So.. let's see.... classes are almost over.  I'm definitely excited!  This year has gone by so fast though, its crazy!  I have enjoyed all of my classes so I am glad that I have finally found a major that I can enjoy and stick wtih.  I have a lot of decisions to make right now though.  One major one is if I want to stay at NDSU or if I want to go to MSUM.  Either way, it's going to be a hard decision.  I am just waiting for God to show me the way.

There is really nothing new with me.  I got a new job... at Friendship Inc.  I work with people that have developmental disabilities.  It's a very rewarding job!  Basically all I do is work and go to school.  Yay for my boring life.

I had a few moments to spare so I thought I would update my xanga... yay!  My life is still pretty boring.  Class and work is about all I know.  Hopefully something exciting will come into my life sometime soon.  I could definitely use it.  I'm over exagerating... it's really not that boring, seriously.  I am going to Colorado for Spring Break!!  I'm so excited!!  I'm going with my good friends Jenny, Michael, and Ashley.  Woot!!  It's going to be so gorgeous I can't hardly wait.  The rest of my Spring Break I am going to spend at home with my wonderful friends and family.  Woot again!!  I have been patiently waiting all day for tonight to come.  Actually I have been waiting all week... it's One Tree Hill night!  Heck yes!  Tonight is going to be a good one... I'm pretty excited!  I thought my xanga could use a little excitement so here some stuff I thought I'd add...

8 Firsts...
First Best Friend: I would say Andi or Corey
First Kiss: Kyle Podratz
First Screen Name: lis1185
First Pet: my dog Dusty
First Piercing: my ears
First Crush: I really cannot remember back that far
First CD: Backstreet Boys.. all the way... haha
First Car: two door, stick shift, Honda Accord... she's a kicker

I'm also going to try to add an animal...if you see one on my site later... you'll know I succeeded!  Well...I'm out!  Have a great week everyone!

Mondays...blah!  What makes this Monday even more blah is that there's no school.  I'm so bored!!  My whole week is going to be BORING. I don't work at all and I really don't have any homework to do.  I just might go crazy!

Melissa came up to visit me this weekend.  It was fun.  We went shopping, out to eat, and watched a good share of movies.  I highly recommend when a stranger calls if you like suspense movies, and just like heaven if you like the chick flicks.  On Sunday I went to Detroit Lakes to visit my Grandma and great Aunt and Uncle.  They have a time share there so the roomy and I went and played some games with them.  It was fun.

There is absolutely nothing new in my life.  Just school and work... you know, the usual.  So I guess along with my life being boring, so am I.

So it's been a while since I've wrote on here and I've had a few requests to update so here goes nothing...

The huge things that my future relied on went great!  Let me tell you... a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders when I got that letter back.  My prayers definitely worked.

School is still going great as well.  I'm really liking my classes which is a very unusual thing but extremely nice at the same time.

Some of my friends have been really struggling lately.  It hurts to know that they are hurting so much but at the same time I know that the only thing I can do is listen, give some advice and just be there for them... be the best friend that I can be.

I've also had some family issues lately.  It was one of the scariest moments of my whole entire life.  A lot of my perspectives have changed since then and I am looking at the world in somewhat of a different light.  I know a lot of people are curious as to what happened but sorry... I really can't say anything.

Even though there are some bad things in life God continues to bless me with good things as well.  All I can do is pray for everything to work out.

Melissa is coming up to visit me this weekend and I am extremely excited!!!  It should be a good time!!

Well my friends I think that's about all for now... I hope everything is going great where you all are!!

I'm not looking forward to a Monday... Monday's are no fun!  But oh well ... life will go on.

A weekend overview... I hung out with Mark on Friday night!  Thanks Marky!  I had fun!  Then Saturday night Jen and I had some friends over... Brian and Jared.  We played some games and watched a movie.  It was also a fun night.  And today I hardly did anything.  Just some homework and watched a lot of tv.

I don't have a lot of stuff to do this week so I'm excited about that.  I'm glad I made it through last week alive... hehe!

I'm really enjoying my Interpersonal Communications class.  Not only are the people in there really cool but the class is as well.  I'm finding out a lot of new things that I never knew about myself during the class.  It's really interesting and a lot of fun!

I had thought about transfering to Mankato earlier this year, and then I kindof forgot about it.  But I thought about it a lot this weekend.  I guess we'll see what happens within the next couple of weeks...

Goodbye for now my friends...

P.S.  Katie you're the best!!! I wouldn't have been able to make it through the weekend without you!!! Love you and miss you tons!!!
